For
plants to grow and develop flowers and fruit, they need a balanced source of 20
mineral elements, or nutrients, including nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium,
calcium, manganese and zinc. Plants “feed” on these nutrients from the soil, as
their roots absorb minerals and nutrients from water in the soil. A plant's
ability to absorb nutrients can be affected by soil's pH level, and nutrient
deficiencies or imbalances may cause problems for flowering and fruiting
plants.
The six main nutrients essential to
healthy and fruitful plant development are carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen,
phosphorus and potassium. The first three are in air and water, and the last
three must come from the soil. Additional major elements plants need in large
amounts include calcium, magnesium and sulfur. The essential nutrients promote
chlorophyll production and the process of photosynthesis and protect growing
plants from environmental challenges and disease. In addition, the elements are
required for the development of flowers, leaves and roots; potassium in
particular promotes healthy flowering and fruiting in growing plants.
Beyond the essential nutrients
responsible for healthy plant growth and development, plants also need
micronutrients, which assist in fruit and flower production. For example, boron
aids in cell wall formation and calcium uptake, as well as flowering, pollen
germination and fruiting. Iron is necessary for healthy development of all
parts of young growing plants. Manganese enables respiration and nitrogen
metabolism, and zinc is required for stem growth. Molybdenum and nickel are
both needed for healthy seed formation and germination, and silicon improves
stem strength.

HOW TO USE
Use SRIVARNA FLOMAN straight from the bag. For the best results mix with
SRIVARNA SOIVITA / SRIVARNA COVITA on the ratio of 1 : 3 (1 Part of SRIVARNA FLOMAN
: 3 Parts of SRIVARNA SOIVITA / SRIVARNA
COVITA). After usage, close the balance SRIVARAN FLOMAN in air tight.
Do as many plants as possible at one time, gathering them all together
along with clean containers and the potting mix.
Give each plant a thorough watering an hour or so in advance, and allow
to drain.
Select a clean container approximately 25mm wider than the original and
partly fill with the mixture.
Turn the plant out of its present container. Loosen root ball gently and
remove any rotten or entirely dried out roots.
Position the plants in the container and when happy with arrangement
check levels and fill with new potting mix.
Shake the container gently by tapping the bottom on the ground to allow
the mixture to settle.
Do not firm or pack down. Normal watering will provide sufficient
firming down of the potting mix.
Initial soaking after potting is essential and then a regular watering
programme is important.
Protect plant from heat and strong sunlight for a few days and keep
moist. Water only when the growing mixture feels dry.
