SRIVARNA COCO Peat (groPEAT®) is a 100% environmentally friendly and
completely renewable resource.
SRIVARNA COCO Peat (groPEAT®) bricks are ideal for Home / Terrace / Balcony
/ Kitchen Gardens.
This square brick can be either
individually shrink wrapped or can be placed in carton boxes.
The SRIVARNA COCO Peat (groPEAT®) s are
excellent for propagation, water retention, soil aeration and seed germination.
COCO Peat bricks can be used in potting, seed stating, bulbs and tubers. It can
be used as alternatives for Peat Moss.
The pH value of Peat Moss is low which
makes it not suitable to grow all plants, whereas, COCO Peat Bricks have a pH
value ranging from 5.5 to 6.5 making it ideal for wide range of plants.

SRIVARNA COCO Peat (groPEAT®) is odourless and easy to handle (besides a
thorough rinsing if you buy low-quality, sodium-packed varieties. See note
below).
Because of its naturally aerated
structure, SRIVARNA COCO Peat (groPEAT®) is almost impossible to over water. In fact, SRIVARNA COCO Peat (groPEAT®) can hold up to 8x its weight in water, and rather than over-saturate, will simply reject what it
can't absorb comfortably. If you provide too much moisture to peat bases, for
example, you run the risk of water logging. Not so with coco coir.
SRIVARNA COCO Peat (groPEAT®) is naturally anti-fungal, anti-microbial and
anti-bacterial (though oddly it creates a wonderful and friendly environment
for "good" bacteria).
SRIVARNA COCO Peat (groPEAT®) can help protect your plants against pathogens
like Pithium and so on at the same time, it will allow beneficial bacteria to
thrive.
Method of Preparation: Soak the brick in a water trough and within minutes you can see the
brick absorbing about 2 - 3 litters of water
