SRIVARNA groPEAT®BAR / Pillow (COCO PEAT) is a natural fibre made out of coconut husks. The extraction of the coconut fibre from husks gives us this by-product called SRIVARNA groPEAT®. SRIVARNA groPEAT® (COCO PEAT) is a 100% natural growing medium. This SRIVARNA groPEAT®1000 (COCO PEAT) dried in the natural sun, are processed to produce different items namely SRIVARNA groPEAT®BAR (COCO PEAT) block, SRIVARNA groPEAT® (COCO PEAT) briquettes, SRIVARNA groPEAT® (COCO PEAT) tablets etc.
This makes an excellent growing medium for hydroponics or container plant growing. Clean coir has natural rooting hormones and anti-fungal properties.

The usages of SRIVARNA groPEAT®
SRIVARNA groPEAT®
(COCO PEAT) holds water rather than shedding it like traditional peat does. It
holds 8-9 times its weight in water.
SRIVARNA groPEAT®
(COCO PEAT) has the ability to store and release nutrient to plants for
extended periods of time. It also has great oxygenation properties which is
important for healthy root development.
It has a pH of
5.2-6.8 which is neutral to slightly acidic. This makes it great for alkaline
garden soils.
Easy to use! Just put your compressed SRIVARNA groPEAT® (COCO PEAT) brick in a container, add 4 quarts of warm water and let it sit until the water is absorbed, fluff it up and you are ready to use SRIVARNA groPEAT® (COCO PEAT).
SRIVARNA groPEAT®
(COCO PEAT) can even be reused for up to 5 years.
It makes a great bedding material for worm bins! It's actually good for them and increases worm growth by 25%.
SRIVARNA groPEAT® (COCO PEAT) is very slow to disintegrate; it only begins to break down when it is 10 years old, long term benefits. It is very light and easy to handle.

Grow Bags are mainly used for hydroponics growing
under greenhouse conditions.
They are suitable for a wide variety of crops
such as: vegetables (tomato, pepper, cucumber, strawberry, melon, watermelon,
eggplant…), flowers (gerberas, roses…), soft fruit (strawberry, berries…) and
fruit nurseries (citrus trees, olive trees, fruit trees…). Plastic is UV
treated according to customer requirements; availability white (outside)
/black (inside) or black/black. Also they can be supplied as the slab without
the bag. Different possibilities to make it easier for growers: planting
holes/cuts, pre-drilled drip holes, drainage cuts, tailor-made sizes…Grow
Bags are OMRI listed products.
They are certified for organic production,
according to the national Organic Program Rule of Use. Grow Bags are
available on different coco peat / crush chips combinations for an adequate
air/water ratio, depending on crop, variety, season, climate conditions,
water salinity…so growers can choose between different formulas for the best
water management.
